Funding for the improvements were provided by: The North Conway Water Precinct; The State of New Hampshire Grants program; The Federal Rural Development Authority with a grant and a low-cost loan; and the Economic Development Administration with a grant. Bonds were provided by the New Hampshire Bond Bank. The low-cost loans and grants were essential to the success of the collection system improvements and treatment facility construction, and hence to the health and prosperity of the community.
				The Advanced Watewater Treatment Facility is a key component of the infrastructure development needed to support this community. The Treatment Facility works in conjuction with a network of water supply and sewr improvements that serve the community. This infrastructure is needed not only to support existing service needs but also to allow growth and development in the area while maintaining environmental quality and recreational resources.
